Switzerland’s reg­u­la­to­ry sys­tem remains aligned with EU stan­dards. How­ev­er, since the mutu­al recog­ni­tion agree­ment between Switzer­land and the EU expired in 2021, non-Swiss man­u­fac­tur­ers must now appoint a Switzer­­land-based Autho­rized Rep­re­sen­ta­tive to mar­ket prod­ucts in Switzer­land.
